For Your Sacred Space

Many of my items are created for peoples sacred space and rituals. Creating objects of beauty for spirit and to bring pleasure is my intention.

Many of my designs are created by first drawing my design and then carving into clay to create a stamp so I can inexpensively replicate my design and keep my prices reasonable. Making the original stamp is very time consuming and intricate. I also use a few wooden stamps that are hand carved from India and Nepal.

All my pottery in created by coils (ropes of clay) or using slabs of clay. (flat rolled out sheets). Coil pottery is an ancient art which was a technique long before the wheel thrown pottery (which is also ancient).

The Divine Feminine

I am especially inspired by the Divine Feminine such as Mother Earth or Gaia, Tara of Buddhism, Mother Mary, Isis of Egypt and other Goddess representations of the power and glory of the female principle.

I have been working with clay for almost 30 years now. "Playing in the Mud" I make pottery, shrines, aromatherapy essential oil diffusers, offering bowl, decorative bowls, incense burners and more. I am inspired by the different cultures, religions, symbols and designs of many parts of this planet.
